Network is expected to be shut down by 2029
Manx Telecom will host the next of its drop-in sessions about its copper switch-off programme this week.
It's part of its Island-wide transition to fibre broadband.
The session will take place at the Live at Home Digital Hub in Laxey on Thursday 10 July between 3-6pm.
Manx Telecom says the event is aimed at answering questions and providing guidance on the upcoming changes.
Dedicated Community Partner Josh Radcliffe, Future Ready Community Partner at Manx Telecom, said: "From this event, we hope to help Laxey residents navigate the broadband transition smoothly.
"As the switch-off continues, we want to make sure you have all the support you need along the way.
"It will affect your home phone, so even if you don’t use the internet you still need to take action.
"Whether you're facing challenges or simply have questions, we'd love to see you there and help however we can."
The copper switch-off is expected to be completed by 2029.
