Island company raising the bar
Island-produced meat has had a great boost recently.
Manx Lamb featured at a party held by the UK's Ambassador in Berne for the Queen's birthday on the 6th of June.
It followed a visit by representatives of the Manx food and drink sector to Switzerland
Chairman of Isle of Man Meat Company Ltd, Tim Baker MHK said, 'It was a great honour to have Manx lamb on the menu at such a prestigious occasion'.
Isle of Man Meats was the only Manx business to feature in the event which was supported by around 30 leading companies
The ambassador also mentioned the Manx meat in her speech.
