Dance group goes from Peel to Paris

Knox group of companies supports local dance group in international comp

An IOM dance group is going from Peel to Paris today thanks to the help of a local business.

The Knox Group of companies is supporting Gena's Dance Academy as they head to Disneyland Paris to compete in the IFDPA dance championships.

Involving competitors from more than 30 countries, the International Festival of Dance and Performing Arts event takes place annually over two days, with this being the second year of entry for Gena's Dance Academy.

The group is made up of dancers between the ages of 7 and 14 who are hoping to build on the success from their festival debut last year where the junior dancers placed 2nd in their category and the seniors claiming 3rd.

Deputy Chairman for Knox group of companies, Tim Eve, is delighted to support the dancers competing at international level, saying that supporting young talent is part of the businesses ethos and wishes them the very best of luck.
