Contactless payments for taxis on Island

Local firm introduces card options

A local taxi firm is giving its customers a new range of choices when it comes to payment.

The Douglas based taxi firm Telecabs has brought in use of contactless card payments, along with Apple and Google Pay, in a bid to improve customer service.

This is courtesy of provider CabCard Services - part of the Manx company 'CCS group', which provides this facility to taxi fleets across the British Isles.
