On Thursday 30th January it is Young Carers Awareness Day across the UK. Young Carers Awareness Day is a day of recognition for the UK's young carers so Crossroads want to celebrate all that they do!
Schools, businesses, organisations and individuals are invited to help support the Island's young carers by holding a dress down day, or your own fundraising event, to raise money and also raise awareness of what it means to be a young carer.
It is estimated that there are over 1,000 young people in the Isle of Man who provide care to a parent, sibling, or someone in their family who has an illness, disability or mental health issue. We think what they do is truly incredible and would love to have as many people show their support for them.
