Earlier this Summer the Chief Minister made a commitment for the Isle of Man to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050 and for a Climate Change Bill to go to Tynwald in 2020. Since then a Climate Emergency Transformation Team has been established with an Independent Chair to develop a Climate Change Action Plan for our island.

Would like to invite our residents to a Climate Change Community Workshop on Thursday 19th September. At this event we will;

Provide an update about progress with developing the action plan

Present the opportunity to meet members of the Climate Emergency Transformation Team

Ask for feedback and input on actions we can take to reduce emissions

Provide information on climate change and our island, and the previous community workshop
