Helping "Friends of the Neb" to pull up Himalayan Balsam, a non native invasive species that is dominating this wet area around the Raggatt and crowding out our native species.
Robust foot wear, long sleeves, long trousers and gardening/work gloves recommended as contact with midges is possible and nettles likely. Waterproofs if wet.
Only extreme events, flooding, gales and thunder storms will stop this weekly event, for health and safety reasons.
