#MRWomenToday listen again: the new Bard, Young Singer of Mann and STEM careers

On the programme today: -

bardrobyn- we were joined in the studio by Young Singer of Mann, Youngest Finalist in Actor of Mann and all round achiever Robyn-Mae Lawler, who also sang a beautiful version of Streets of London for us;

- we met the new Manx Bard, Sara Goodwins, who shared a wonderfully topical new poem with us all about being on the radio for the first time (there will be video of this on our Youtube Channel later this evening);

- we heard about three truly inspirational young women who aced their GCSE's yesterday despite having been directly affected by the Grenfell Tower fire and Manchester Arena attack just hours before taking their exams;

- we spoke to Nicola Combe – Chartered Engineer & Product Lead at Centrica - about opportunities for school leavers in STEM careers (science, technology, engineering and maths)

- and we asked what song lyrics you have misheard - our favourites being 'Then I saw her face... now I'm gonna leave her!' and Starship Troopers 'We built this city on saus-age rooooollls!"

If you missed them all, you can listen back to the show for the next 7 days here and give yourself a weekend giggle :) Have a lovely long weekend and we'll be back with you on Tuesday.
