#MRWomenToday listen again: Holding Einstein's Brain

Blog PicOn Women Today today, Beth and Howard were joined by Kerry Sharpe.  Born and raised in Laxey, Kerry spent a decade in London producing TV documentaries for channels including the BBC and ITV.

Her work took her all over the world covering the most varied subjects - she has even held part of Albert Einstein's brain!

Kerry has spent the past four years writing a book about the history of looked after children in the Isle of Man which is to be published by Culture Vannin.  Anyone who's interested in finding out more  email kerrysharpe@manx.net

Also on the show there was discussion about whether the law should be overturned to allow women who were forced into prostitution, and were subsequently prosecuted, to be able to keep that information off their records and therefore not brought to the attention of potential employers.

Beth, Howard and Kerry also talked about whether or not gender selection is ever ok, Bridget Bardot's thoughts on the #metoo campaign and men who take their wife's surname after marriage.

If you missed any of the show you can listen again for the next seven days by clicking here.
