#MRWomenToday listen again: Hayley Crowe, IOM Young Farmers

Ben and Christy were joined in the studio today by Hayley Crowe from Isle of Man Young Farmers. She talked to us about what is happening in the farming community at the moment and how farmers are coping with the bad winter; about the importance for the community to adapt to succeed in the changing world (did you know you can now get Manx grown quinoa for instance?!); also the need to find some long-lost farming trophies (raid your cupboards everyone!) - and she revealed the dates and tickets for the Island's most popular homegrown event of the year - the Young Farmers Concert. Dates this year are March 8th, 9th and 10th and tickets go on sale Saturday February 10th from the Welcome Centre - so get your sleeping bags out and start planning your overnight queuing strategy!

Also today:

- in light of comedian Chris Rock banning mobile phones from his upcoming tour because of the distraction they cause for both him and the audience, we asked whether you think phones should be banned from gigs and events?

- last night was the first big music awards ceremony with the Grammys being held in New York, and some media have criticised the lack of successful female artists in the major categories; an ironic and shocking oversight on the part of the judges, or did the right people win, regardless of their gender?

- and finally, we found out how Beth and Christy got on with Week 3 of the #MR50Things Challenge. This week, they were tasked with creating something out of Lego, as the iconic toy celebrated it's 60th birthday yesterday. Don't forget, we want YOU to join in with the weekly challenges, which range from fun to worthy, creative to sporty and everything in between - go ahead and Challenge yourself, then send us the photos of how you got on!

Below you can see a short #MRVision clip from our chat with Hayley, but if you missed any part of today’s programme you can listen again at this link for the next 7 days.
