MRWomenToday listen again: A talking mongoose and some hobby horses

This Wednesday afternoon Beth and Ben were joined by the founder of an alternative media for the Manx masses.

Kate Hegarty is the founder of Gef the Mongoose - a new digital media brand for the Isle of Man aimed at younger people, where issues about the Island is discussed and promoted.  The team was also behind the 'Chips, Cheese and Gravy Day' which made the headlines last week.

Kate also has another business, Peggy and Mills, a new creative performance marketing agency with the motto 'Weird enough to make it interesting, scientific enough to make it work'.

Beth and Ben were also joined by two member of the Isle of Man Lions Club. Mike Berry and Roy Wilson were promoting their inaugural Hobby Horse Show of the Year - taking place at Ballavartyn in Santon on Sunday April 8th.  It promises to be a fantastic event with classes for children and over 16s.  There will be small jumps to tackle, stalls to browse and hobby horses will be provided.  For more information email erniecorlett@manx.net

The team also discussed the etiquette of punctuality and stars who refuse to sign autographs.

If you missed any of the show you can listen again here for the next seven days.
