Wilfy the winner at Blue Point

DTL league opener at the Ayres

Wilfy Walton was the winner of the first round of the Down the Line winter league at Blue Point yesterday (Sunday).

Sponsored by Top Spec Fencing, Walton finished ahead of second placed man Stan Skinner at the Ayre Clay Target Club with Kevin Oates and Mike Walker sharing third spot.

James Bradley won B class from Phil Butler who pipped Arthur Hayes for second.

Corina Clague the C class winner from Peter Lowe and Rob Watterson.

Results:

A Class: 1, Wilfy Walton 50/147; 2, Stan Skinner 49/140; 3= Kevin Oates and Mike Walker 47/139.

B Class: 1, 1, James Bradley 46/131; 2, Phil Butler 44/127; 3, Arthur Hayes 44/126.

C Class: 1, Corina Clague 41/118; 2, Peter Lowe 40/114; 3. Rob Watterson 40/107.
