Latest BSB Superstock round 'a massive step', says Harrison

Manxman takes two top-20 spots at Oulton Park

Manx rider Nathan Harrison has described his latest outing on the BSB calendar as a 'massive step' on his road back from injury earlier this year.

The Onchan-born competitor was involved in the two National Superstock series races at Oulton Park from 15-17 September, securing two top-20 finishes in the process.

A 19th place finish on race one was followed by Harrison securing 18th spot - in the first of those events Harrison managed a new personal best at that track of one minute 38.3 seconds.

Overall, he's described the latest event as a 'good confidence boost on the back of a tough year'.

Having missed this year's Isle of Man TT Races and Southern 100 Road Races due to an injury sustained at the North West 200 in May, Harrison made his Snaefell Mountain Course return at the 2023 Manx Grand Prix last month.

There he rode the Ashcourt Racing Honda RC45 in the Classic Superbike class - deputising for the injured Lee Johnston - and went on to finish fifth in the Classic Superbike MGP Race.
