Ravens chasing fourth straight win against high-calibre visitors

FC Isle of Man will be aiming to make it four wins in a row when they host promotion-chasing Bury AFC at The Bowl in the NWCFL Premier Division tomorrow evening (15 April).

The Ravens have lost just once in their last seven outings whilst three points will be crucial for their visitors who remain hopeful of a chance to be playing in the level above next season.

Hundreds of away supporters are also expected to descend on the Island this weekend for a potentially pivotal clash for Bury.

FC Isle of Man interim manager, Paul Jones, hopes a potentially fiery atmosphere and good-quality opposition could bring out the best in his players again:

As part of their trio of consecutive wins in their most recent games, FC Isle of Man's latest outing saw them stun one of Bury's promotion rivals, Avro, with a dramatic stoppage-time 1-0 win at The Bowl six days ago.

The Island outfit's recent good run means they're currently sixth out of 22 sides in the NWCFL Premier Division form table, with three wins, two draws and one defeat in their last six.

Defensively, the Ravens have continued to become harder to break down - they've only conceded more than two goals in a game once since 8 February.

Meanwhile, Bury AFC's strong charge towards the top of the division throughout season has faltered recently with 'The Shakers' without a win in their last four, including a surprise 3-0 home defeat to relegation-threatened Burscough on Thursday night (13 April).

The visitors are six points off the promotion play-off place with three games to play, but with a game in hand on their contenders around them.

They also swept aside FC Isle of Man earlier this season with a commanding 4-0 victory at the Neuven Stadium on 13 September.

FC Isle of Man vs Bury AFC takes place at The Bowl this Saturday (15 April), kicking-off at 6pm
