Changing pattern of uni demand

Sixth Form students across the Island are currently immersed in exam season, with one eye on their future.

Many will head off to university in the UK later this year, if they get the required grades.

Ian Kay is Head of Sixth at Ballakermeen in Douglas.

He says the pattern of demand for higher education is changing - with many young people opting for degrees that aren't on offer in high school education:
