Touching memories of former president

Last night's Southern 100 press launch in Castletown began with a tribute to one of its stalwarts.

Dandara boss Seamus Nugent entertained the crowds with one of former president Derek Nicholson's favourite jokes.

The long-serving club member died last July.

He had been involved with the Southern 100 since 1974.

This year's racing takes place from 9-12 July, with the Pre-TT Classic meeting also set for 25 May.
