Private members bill regarding Bishop’s vote makes progress

Third reading will take place in the next few weeks

The private member's bill that could take the Bishop’s vote away in both Legislative Council and Tynwald has made further progress in the House of Keys.

It has passed its clauses stage.

Attempts to amend the bill by Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas failed today (23 April).

The third reading will take place in the next few weeks.
