The company with plans to build the Isle of Man's first offshore wind-farm is set to hold five community information events next month.
Orsted says it will give residents an opportunity to learn more about the proposals and meet the team behind them.
The company plans to deliver booklets - with the plans - to homes across the Island next week.

"The information events we are hosting across the Island, and our information booklet, are both important steps in the process of community engagement. Our Isle of Man development team are looking forward to the chance to meet, discuss and share views on how offshore wind power off the coast of Maughold Head could support the Isle of Man’s journey to net zero in the decades to come.”
Mr Galloway sat down with Manx Radio's Siobhán Fletcher to explain:
The booklet and community events coincide with the start of the process to gain planning consent for the wind farm which would be approximately 6 to 12 nautical miles off Maughold Head.

Details for each meeting are:
- Monday 20th November: Laxey - The Laxey Glen Pavilion, The Laxey Glen
- Tuesday 21st November: Ramsey - Milntown House, Lezayre Road,
- Wednesday 22nd November: Peel - Kelvin Dawson Community Hub, Peel Football Club, Douglas Road
- Thursday 23rd November: Port Erin - Erin Arts Centre, Victoria Square
- Saturday 25th November: Douglas - Villa Marina, Promenade Suite
They will run from 2.30pm to 7pm and are on a ‘drop in’ basis.
Orsted intend to submit an application for planning consent to the Isle of Man Government in early 2025.
