Island joins Commonwealth business forum

IOM will be better placed says Chief Minister

The Chief Minister says a new agreement with more than 20 nations will leave us better placed after Brexit.

Last week, the Isle of Man became a 'strategic partner' of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, which brings together business and finance representatives from several member states.

Although the Island is not a fully fledged Commonwealth member, Howard Quayle will have a say on the Council's advisory board.

Chairman Lord Marland called it a 'fantastic opportunity' for Manx business.

Mr Quayle explains exactly what it will mean.
