Grand Designs presenter to visit Island for special lecture

Arts Council announce annual lecture

The special guest for the Isle of Man Arts Council's annual lecture has been confirmed.

Presenter and designer Kevin McCloud will be on the Gaiety Theatre stage in September.

It follows the success of last year's lecture, which featured journalist and presenter Louis Theroux.

Mr McCloud is best known for the internationally acclaimed series 'Grand Designs', which has been running on Channel 4 for over 20 years.

The Arts Council say the night will "give the audience a look into the life of one the UK’s most loved presenters".

The evening will include the opportunity for the audience to ask questions directly to Kevin.

Marlene Maska, Chair of Isle of Man Arts Council says: “After the runaway success of our 2022 lecture with Louis Theroux, we are thrilled that Kevin McCloud will be visiting the Gaiety Theatre to provide an insight to his life and work, also allowing the audience to ask questions in such an intimate setting.”

Kevin McCloud will be at the Gaiety Theatre on Monday 25 September at 7:30pm.
