Union brands transport bosses 'difficult'

Work to rule continues

Another breakdown in talks has led to further industrial action by bus drivers today.

It's as a long-running row over annual leave and holiday cover continues.

Transport staff 'worked to rule' for one week during the Festival of Motorcycling last month, and had planned to do the same this week.

Overtime and additional hours have now been cancelled for today, with more negotiations taking place tomorrow.

Unite the Union insists the action is targeting government transport bosses, and not the general public.

Regional boss Eric Holmes has accused those in the Department of Infrastructure of being 'difficult'.
