Bus action a success says union head

Work to rule targeted management

The Head of the union Unite says a week's action by bus drivers on the Island has been a success.

Unite members employed by Bus Vannin have been staging a work-to-rule this week, in protest at the DoI's plan to limit the number of drivers who can take holiday during TT fortnight.

The Union also claims the department also wants drivers to take annual leave outside of the main school holiday periods, including in the winter.
