FIM Capital sponsor Beach Buddies

Business keen to promote charity's work

Beach cleaning charity, Beach Buddies is off to a flying start for 2018 with news that it has secured headline sponsorship for the future with backing from the investment management and fund administration company, FIM Capital.

The news comes as the charity, founded in 2007, looks back on a landmark year which has seen it elevated onto an international stage with invitations for founder Bill Dale to lecture across the world about its achievements which have seen it grow from two volunteer beach cleaners to more than 8,500.

FIM approached Beach Buddies with an offer of financial help, something which Bill says shows how the charity's achievements in the last few years have gained recognition widely across the Island and further afield.

Chief Investment Officer for FIM Capital, Russell Collister, says the company looked on the sponsorship as an opportunity to give valuable financial support, protect its intellectual property and assist with enhancing the profile of FIM Capital Beach Buddies.

He adds that all the staff are keen to get involved with future beach cleaning efforts on the Island and to help the charity spread the word around the world about how to solve the problem of marine litter.
